The DUO AC/DC AUTOMATIC model is equipped with a motorized regulator.
The rise in pressure takes place automatically and remains stabilized in the right zone in order to obtain optimal production in all circumstances.

Thanks to this system, the motors engage independently from one another, without any electric clutch and without manual intervention on the pulleys. It is 100% reliable and safe, like all Dessalator products. 

For more than ten years, the DUO 60 and DUO 100 have been installed as standard equipment by major boat builders and have become the preferred choice of experienced sailors. The advantage of the DUO is its “2-in-1” concept: it is like having two watermakers in one unit, allowing the most logical and efficient mode of operation. 

For example, when there is no wind and the propulsion engine is running, 12V or 24V power is readily available. In this situation, DC operation is ideal:

• DUO 60: 370 W
• DUO 100: 600 W

At anchor, or when the generator is running, the watermaker can be operated on 230V AC. 

Its low power consumption :

• DUO 60: 5 A
• DUO 100: 6.5 A

allows the battery charger to retain virtually all of its capacity for charging batteries and powering other equipment (for example, a water heater).
