Make sure the control panel pressure regulator knob is fully opened counterclockwise. Immerse this hose in the bucket containing the sterilizing solution<\/li><li>Turn the 3-way valve to the <strong>seawater position<\/strong> and start the watermaker without building up pressure. Let it run until the bucket is empty. The system enters safety mode after 1 minute; you may need to restart the watermaker to complete the procedure.<\/li><li>Once the operation is complete, reconnect the hose and reopen the seawater intake valve.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"x-text x-content e543-e5 mf3-6 mf3-7\"><p class=\"p1\"><b>Procedure Using a Garden Sprayer: <\/b>If you have a garden sprayer, you can carry out the procedure manually :<\/p><ul><li>Dilute one full bag of sterilizer in 10 liters of fresh water, then fill the sprayer with this solution.<\/li><li>Pressurize the sprayer to 3 or 4 bars<\/li><li>Close the seawater intake valve, then disconnect the seawater inlet hose<\/li><li>Turn the 3-way valve to the <strong>seawater position<\/strong> and inject the entire sterilizing solution into the seawater inlet hose of the watermaker.<\/li><li>Once the operation is complete, reconnect the hose and reopen the seawater intake valve.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span class=\"s6\"><b>IMPORTANT<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s6\"><b>:<\/b><\/span><\/span> Three hours after the sterilization procedure, it is essential to rinse the membranes for 5 minutes to eliminate any excess sterilizing powder. To do so, turn the 3-way valve to the <b>fresh water position. <\/b>Let the water circulate for 5 minutes, then turn the valve back to the <b>closed position<\/b>.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><strong>Sterilization duration:<\/strong> Sterilization is effective for a maximum of 6 months. If this period is exceeded, the full procedure described in this manual must be repeated.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s6\" style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>IMPORTANT :<\/b><\/span> Before restarting the watermaker, a complete rinse with fresh water is mandatory. Turn the 3-way valve to the <b>fresh water position<\/b> and let water circulate for 15 minutes. Then turn the valve back to the <b>closed position<\/b> to stop the water supply.
